Sleepless Nights (Yaoi Manga)
Sure, Miyabi may work in a neighborhood where men like to cruise. That doesn’t automatically mean he’s into guys, too! But what happens when a chance encounter with a beautiful stranger turns his world upside-down? Will Miyabi have the courage to make up his mind about what (or who) he truly desires?
Sleepless Nights creates plenty of the kind of delicious tension that’s made for tossing and turning! Should surprise roommates find a way to keep their relationship strictly platonic? Or will they succumb to sweet pressure and explode in a fit of passion?
Sleepless Nights Yaoi Manga eBook Sachi Murakami
I find e-books with no reviews, no feedback or comments and hesitate on whether to buy it or not.'Never mind' i think. 'I'll take one for the team, buy the book and then report back'.
Well here i am and this is what i have to say:
[Plot - 7]
The story starts backwards. They first hook-up then development a relationship over time. So nothing new in the synopsis department but it still delivers a nice story. The story is also only one sided as you only see it from Miyabi's point of view. Keeps you guessing because you never know what Shuuhei is thinking. So the plot consists of Miyabi's mind taunting him over Shuuhei and what he's thinking/doing.
The comedy is light and cute. No drama and light - very light - smexy scenes.
[Art - 5]
The art wasn't anything special. The characters were cute but no bishies. Simple backgrounds. Simple shading. meh
[Character - 7]
I like how the manga portrays the characters and makes you think they are something they're not - only to reveal their true selves in the end. It's like the author wants you to have the first impression only to make you realise people are not what they seem. Very clever.
One thing i will add about Miyabi is that he claims that he is only in relationships for love and love only...but he randomly picks up some boy (aka Shuuhei) and sleeps with him *clicks fingers* just like that. I found that a bit hypocritical. No-one perfect but that annoyed me.
[Enjoyment - 7]
I did enjoy this but only at a level of 'only read it once'. It was a nice story with some funny/cute scenes and nice romance but i can't see myself re-reading this any time soon.
I did like the extra side story at the end though. Answered some random thoughts/scenes that happened during the main story :)
[Overall - 7]
I was going to rate this only a 6, at first, but thought it did deserve a 7.
So overall questions:
1) Did i enjoy this? yes, it was cute and had a nice conclusion.
2) Will you re-read it? not anytime soon, if not never. Once is enough.
3) Would you recommend people to buy this? no, unless you've already read it and LOVE it and want your own copy. Plenty of better mangas out there for the price of $8.

Sleepless Nights Yaoi Manga eBook Sachi Murakami Reviews
I found this couple sweet and they fit really well together. It was a great story line with cute guys.
Book was in great condition. The story itself started a little rocky but it was cute.
Good story and art but too short to pay $10 for.
I liked the story line of how each couple met up. However, I was sort of left at the end thinking it was just a bit short to me. However, I still really enjoyed the characters and there development.
I bought this book to add to my collection. I love every one that I have.
I don't usually knock a book down two stars for mediocre art, but it was distracting. The kid they called "cute" and had all of the guys panting was plain looking and the kid they called "pretty", wasn't. Because I disagreed with the comments, I was distracted from the plot. The plot was actually quite good. The two stories flowed together nicely and I liked the characters.
Of course there's gotta be intense misunderstandings but I feel like they could've at least added a bit more to the fact they were together. It seemed like as soon as they got together it just ends so abruptly. I really enjoyed the first story though. It was sorts confusing if he was supposed to be straight but it worked. More fanservice plz!! ^\\^
